Jazzy B
Live in Concert |
Ankur Sood of the Desi Underground Project has summarised Jazzy B quite simply as: “Michael Jackson is to pop music as Jazzy B is to _____?” (Bhangra, of course!)
If you’ve never heard the characteristic sounds of the legendary crowned Prince of Bhangra, then you’re simply missing a large chunk in your life. Jaswinder Singh Baines, more commonly as Jazzy B is an influential musician whose characteristic bhangra sounds fused with a western flavour has been gaining popularity since the launch of his debut album in 1993.

Born in India, raised in Canada and now residing in Britain, Jazzy B with his characteristic hair, rock star looks and powerful voice is set to take the world by storm.
Auckland audiences were given a second dose of the magic of Jazzy B as he once again made his way down to the land of the kiwis. A three hour show filled with the magic of his years and the momentum of his energy spread throughout the Telstra Clear Stadium as an audience of 1800 or so danced the night away to the sounds of bhangra. |

Being the legend that he is, Jazzy B did not disappoint a single fan. Throughout his performance he paid attention to each and every fan that came up to the stage for a closer look.
Albeit, the nazi- style duty of the venue security guards, fans were given the opportunity by Jazzy B himself, to have their photographs taken and autographs signed.

The show, needless to say was a musical success! Jazzy B is a sensational performer live and his interaction with audiences left fans craving for more. |

After the spectacular show I might just be left singing, ‘Dil Luteya’ for a couple of days more!
