Heyy Babyy

With a worldwide release on Friday August 24, Heyy Babyy rocked its way into cinemas with a bang – not to mention a diaper or two in tow!
The film stars Akshay Kumar, Fardeen Khan and Ritesh Deshmukh as three confirmed bachelors living the high life in Sydney, Australia, when an unexpected knock on the door turns the bachelors into ready made Dads. |
|
Heyy Babyy may appear to be a remake of the Hollywood hit, ‘Three Men and a Baby’, but apart from…three men and a baby – the comparison stops right there. Heyy Babyy is Bollywood masala at its unique best – with a sprinkling of drama, emotions and good old slapstick comedy, which will have you laughing and crying!
The film takes you on a journey from A to Z as three Indian men untrained in the art of raising a baby – let alone a female one at that – hilariously work together to rearrange their lives for a child whom neither is sure they fathered. |

|
Heyy Babyy works on all levels – from comedy to drama. The films cast combined with a superb script by Sajid Khan are a mix that will entertain both NRI’s and Indians the world over. Heyy Babyy is Sajid Khan’s first major film and he has done a splendid job in creating characters, personalities and threading them together in a seamless storyline. It features something for almost everyone.
The comedic trio of Akshay, Fardeen and Ritesh work very well. The three have a natural ability to interact well and the chemistry they share is natural and entertaining to watch. |
|
Akshay has always had great comedic timing and he is in full form in Heyy Babyy. If you loved him in Namastey London, then be prepared for another riot of laughter in Heyy Babyy. He looks athletic and very well toned. His mischievous laugh and twinkling eyes have slowed the ageing process, but the tell tale signs of the 40s is showing.
Vidya Balan, this gorgeous actress can do no wrong. Her projection of innocent beauty, combined with her onscreen chemistry with Akshay is great to watch. She is incredible as an emotional actress (think Parineeta), and has a natural flair for comedy. |
|
The music of Heyy Babyy by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy is different and unique from many of the albums released in the recent months. It’s a combination of pop tunes and melodious numbers, a few of which will stand out in the air waves and pass the test of time.
On the whole Heyy Babyy is an entertaining film which offers something for everyone. The cast is superb and little Angel – whom you will come to love has a definite career path in Bollywood. |
