V4U Entertainments is highly regarded in the New Zealand Indian community as a group of performers who know how to professionally execute a performance – whether it is a dance sequence or a Bollywood story.
Dhoom 3 Nite was no exception. A talent studded performance over 3 hours, from singing to dancing. The entertainment was non stop.

The night opened with a special thanks to all sponsors and media partners. An overwhelming number of audience members were not present at this stage. This did not go unnoticed by the MC, who commented on Indian Standard Time – a comment that was not taken lightly by those present.
A very special mention must be given to the ‘Narrator’ of Salaam Bollywood, Roji Vargese. Salaam Bollywood was a musical portrayal of the age old love story that has made Bollywood the popular, iconic feature it is today in the lives of Indians everywhere. The Narrator’s colourful and eloquent words, combined with a sense of British imperialism were a refreshing watch. The thought of this particular talent as an MC for the night would have been a sophisticated and charming interlude to the show.
An unusual performance for a Bollywood show that had me completely entranced was a mime act performed by the Bollywood Grooves. Actually, this was more than just a mime act - it told of a story through music and movement. It was a mesmerizing, and completely spell-binding watch.
One performance that failed to impress me was a trio called, ‘Sapno ki rani’. Winners of Dhoom 2, these three lovely ladies were one of a number of opening acts. Dressed in red ballooning skirts with hot pink genie pants, my attention was focused more on the costumes, rather than the long performance consisting of languid movements and English music. Their song choices left much to be desired – slow, whimsical non Indian numbers failed to impress. Point to note ladies – the night is Dhoom 3 – may be crank it up a notch at least.
The man of the night without a doubt without a doubt was Viraf Todywalla – with his distinctive looks and amazing dancing style , this man is more than impressive on stage. He doesn’t just dance, he injects a sense of life into the performance – parallel to our Bollywood dance numbers. The man just cannot be missed.
Mr. Todywalla is more than just a dancing machine. He’s an astute business man and a dedicated choreographer. His dancing school teaches students of all ages so that they too can taste Bollywood reality.
Dhoom 3 Nite was a fantastic showcase of talent. The energy, the music and the entertainment was non stop. If you’ve never experienced a V4U production – there’s definitely something missing in your life!
