Mystic Tibet Fundraiser for Amitabha Hospice

Mystic Tibet – Fundraiser for Amitabha Hospice
November 17

This is truly an exceptional film and highly inspirational.

We really need to make this fund raising successful for our new treatment room and lecture-meeting room.

BOOK THIS MOVIE DATE IN YOUR DIARY.... AND TELL YOUR FRIENDS

Level 3, 150 Hobson Rd, Auckland City

2pm and 6pm

Amitabha Hospice is privileged to have received sole rights to screen this film in NZ. It is our great pleasure to invite you to see this fundraising film for Amitabha Hospice and FPMT.

Synopsis:

This is a beautiful, truly outstanding documentary of the pilgrimage to Tibet with Lama Zopa Rinpoche and 50 students in 2002. The documentary shows:

  • spectacular scenery,
  • caves of great meditators like Milarepa,
  • special presentations of ancient statues normally hidden in secret monastery rooms
  • and many clear powerful teachings and commentaries by Lama Zopa Rinpoche.

It is superbly crafted and a real gem of 90mins in Shangri-La.

(P.S.Due to the extent and depth of the commentary, the film is not recommended for children under 12 yrs old.)

Amitabha Hospice needs to raise funds for renovations on our property to create more facilities for disabled people (toilets and treatment room) as well as a designated lecture room for the public and for our volunteers.
